Tareng is the meitei word for Spinning wheel, used for spinning thread or yarn. We strongly believe in numerology and feel 11:11 is our spiritual number guiding us into manifesting our dream.
Our brand believes in preserving our 2000 year old traditional weaving techniques, motifs and the rich textile heritage of Manipur. We strive to support and provide livelihood to our local artisans to keep our heritage alive and celebrate their artistic expressions and creativity.
We want to harness the beauty of Manipuri fabrics to create a wide range of silhouettes that cater to the global fashion landscape.
